REEBOK & CELINE HAS A LOVE CHILD!
One of the latest collabs that the culture must be proud of is Reebok with CELINE!

The 80's called and they said "We're Back!
It was back in 1982 when the original Reebok Freestyle LO style was introduced to the public. With Shaquille O'Neal as President and Allen Iverson as Vice President at the helm of Reebok's Basketball division, as of October 2024, I am not surprised to see this classic find it's way back to the forefront of conversation in fashion.
For those who don't know A.I and Shaq both have sneaker lines with the brand showing their knowledge on what sells and in 2001 A.I signed a lifetime deal insuring he receives $800,000 annually and $55 Million in 2030. In the same month of Shaq and A.I new roles within Reebok they inked a deal with women's basketball superstar Angel Reese.
Now just 2 years later Reebok has embarked upon another collaboration and this time with Celine which is set to be released in store at CELINE Wooster and CELINE OMOTESANDO as well as online September 10th. This is a perfect way to not only get Reebok name in the top five luxury sneaker brands but also allows CELINE to reach a different audience then they may not have in the past.
CELINE is a French Couture House founded in 1945 by Celine Vipiana and her husband Richard. The brand was started as a children's made to order shoe company so a collaboration like this was surely to come to life sooner or later. The current Creative Director is Michael Rider, and he definitely has created a true tribute to the founders of the brand. First showcased on CELINE Spring/Summer 27 fashion show. This is also the brand first ever collaboration with a sneaker company. History is being made on all sides with this collab!
While the price tag is unknown they are made in lambskin so the price tag will not be anywhere near what it was in '82. The redesigned Freestyle Lo collection will be available in 8 different colorways such as optic white, black, butter, beige, peanut, dark brown, oxblood and fluo red. Several of those colors are trending for the coming Fall season so it's no surprise they do their homework over there.
